I’m a writer, editor, and researcher based in Thousand Oaks, California. Since 2018, I’ve worked with businesses, nonprofit organizations, authors, academics, and private clients on a wide range of writing and editing projects. My undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley and my subsequent MA research at the University of Chicago have served as strong foundations for this unlikely path.
My background includes content writing, academic editing and tutoring, manuscript editing, website content, and research-based writing. I’ve helped students and scholars refine academic work, assisted organizations with online content, and edited long-form projects ranging from articles to book-length manuscripts. My clients have included business owners, veterans’ organizations, authors, and professionals seeking clear and effective communication.
I enjoy the challenge of taking complex ideas and presenting them in a way that is engaging, accessible, and easy to understand. Whether I’m editing an academic paper, polishing a manuscript, or helping a business strengthen its online presence, I approach each project with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Outside of work, I like to cook, garden, and take care of my animals, among other things. In the background, I also have a longstanding interest in history, language, and literature. Those interests continue to influence both my professional work and my personal projects.
If you’re looking for a writer or editor who values clear communication, careful research, and dependable service, I’d be happy to discuss your project.
